At the 1912 Olympics, Gabriel St. Laurent was a member of the eights crew of Société Nautique de Bayonne that lost to the eventual bronze winners from Germany in round one. In World War I, he served in the 18th Infantry Regiment. He married Louise Ketty Getten in 1925.
