Biography
Rowing cox René Rensch partnered Mario Streit and Detlef Kirchhoff at the 1988 Seoul Olympics in the coxed pairs and won the silver medal representing East Germany. The previous year the crew finished fourth at the World Championships. In 1984 and 1985, Rensch won the Youth World Championships coxed fours.
