At three consecutive Olympic Games, German lightweight rower Ingo Euler partnered three team-mates in the double sculls. In 1996 at Atlanta he rowed with Peter Uhrig, finishing 11th, in 2000 at Sydney he teamed up with Bernhard Rühling, placing an unfortunate fourth, and in 2004 at Athens he came 13th with Manuel Brehmer. At World Championships Euler won two bronze medals with Rühling, in 1997 and 1999.
In 1995, 2002, 2003 and 2005, Euler won the German national single sculls title. He won the double sculls from 1996-2001, and also in 2003 and 2005, and the quadruple sculls from 1997-2000, and 2002. He later turned to coaching and was Regional Coach at the Bavarian Rowing Association.
