West German rower Andreas Reinke was a member of the quadruple sculls at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, finishing sixth in the final. From 1986-88, he won the German national title with the quadruple sculls with his home club RK am Wannsee Berlin. His brother Hartmut was also a successful international rower.
