Biography

Enrico Garzelli was a member of the Scarronzoni, the rowers of the Unione Canottieri Livornesi, winning the 1929 and 1937 European Championship with the eights. He also won three silvers and one bronze medal at the European Championships, in 1930, 1931, 1933 and 1938, respectively. He was one of the rowers who repeated as silver medalists at Berlin in 1936. Garzelli was Italian Champion with the eights in 1929-33 and 1935-38.
