Nazzareno Simonato was an Italian rower who later worked as a coach for Canottieri Padova, helping the club to win multiple national championships. Simonato was part of the eight crew that competed at their home Olympics in Roma in 1960. After finishing in third place in their heat Italy then advanced to the repêchage where they won their race, going on to finish in sixth place in the final.
