Ștefan Tudor was a three-time rowing Olympian for Romanian, winning a bronze medal in coxed pairs at München in 1972. In 1970 Tudor had won a gold medal at the World Championships in coxed pairs, the first world title ever for Romania. He competed for CS Dinamo București. For his accomplishments in rowing Tudor was given the title Emeritus Master of Sports in Romania.
