Luis Aguiar was a Uruguayan rower who competed in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Along with Gustavo Pérez and Raúl Torrieri, Aguiar won a gold medal at the 1959 Pan American Games in the coxed pairs. The following year they became the South American champions, which earned them selection for the Olympics. At the 1960 Roma Olympics, the coxed pairs crew finished third in their heat and second in round one of the repêchages.
