Biography
Karen McCloskey rowed at Cal State Long Beach, graduating in 1973 with a degree in psychology. She rowed for the US at the 1976 Olympics, the 1974-75 World Championships, and the 1972-73 European Championships. McClosky later became an elementary school teacher with Bishop Elementary Schools (California), retiring in 2011 after 32 years. She then served as President of the Board of Directors of Playhouse 395 in the Eastern Sierras of California from 1998-2015.
