Kristine Norelius rowed at the University of Washington, as did her brothers, John and Mark. She was a member of the ill-fated 1980 US Olympic team. Kristine Norelius competed at the 1981-83 World Championships, winning three silver medals in the eights, and was the only member of all three teams. She later worked teaching special education.
