Biography

At 5-7½ (1.71), 120 lb. (55 kg.), Don Blessing was the coxswain for the 1928 Cal/Berkeley boat which won the IRA championship, the Olympic Trials and the gold medal at Amsterdam. Blessing later became an investment banker in Piedmont, California and was one of the original owners of the Oakland Raiders American Football League (AFL) franchise.
