Aristide Pozzali

Aristide Pozzali was an Italian boxer. He was European amateur champion as a flyweight in 1951 in Milano, defeating the Dutchman Hein van der Zee in the final and the same year he also won gold at the Mediterranean Games. He competed at the 1953 World Military Championships in München, and was Italian champion as a flyweight (1952-53) and bantamweight in 1954.

In 1954 Pozzali turned professional, and in 1955 won the Italian flyweight title by TKO over Franco Lombardozzi. He kept the title for three years and then abandoned it to fight for the European title (Milano, 2 March 1957) but was defeated by KO in the fourth round. He returned to the ring in Casablanca at the end of 1957 and the following year ended his career at just 27 with a draw against Urbani. His career professional record was 31 wins (10 by KO), 3 defeats and 2 draws.
