Abdallah Zohdy

A multiple Egyptian titleholder, sport shooter Abdallah Zohdy specialized in pistol events. He was selected to represent his country, competing internationally as the United Arab Republic, at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, where he placed 42nd out of 53 competitors in the rapid-fire pistol, 25 metres event. He was still competing and in the prime of his career when, four years later, he died suddenly at the age of only 39 in Cairo.
