During his career Zoltán Soós-Ruszka Hradetzky represented Hungary twice at the Olympics. His greatest individual achievement was the 1932 bronze medal in Los Angeles in small-bore rifle, placing eighth in the same event in 1936. In 1935 he won a gold medal at the World Championships in the military rifle team event. He immigrated to the USA after World War II, where he worked as a fencing and soccer coach at the Fordham University School of Business in New York City.
