Biography

Andrzej Socharski was a Polish skeet shooter who won multiple international medals during the 1970s. In his youth Socharski finished as the runner-up in the skeet at the 1967 European Junior Championships. As a senior he won an individual gold and a team silver at the 1970 European Championships, before winning two more silvers (1973, 1976) and four bronze (1972, 1975–77). He also won silver at the 1975 World Championships in the team event. In 1976 Socharski competed at the Montréal Olympics where he tied for 14th with seven other athletes.
