Fredric Landelius was a cellarmaster and hotel tenant in Borås. He won five medals at the Antwerpen and Paris Games, four of them in team events. His 70 points were the best result for the Swedish team in the running deer, double shot event, which secured them the silver medal. In the individual event, he also won a silver medal, only trailing gold medalist Ole Lilloe-Olsen from Norway. In other competitions Landelius won gold medals in the European Championships, in clay pigeon shooting in 1927 and in the World Championships in team running deer, single shot in 1929. He was Swedish champion in clay pigeon shooting in 1925-28 and 1930, as well as in running deer shooting, double shot in 1923. He also won the single shot event at the Göteborg Games the same year. Landelius remained a pillar of the Borås community until his untimely death at only 46-years-old.
