Biography

Brian Ballard competed at the 1988 Seoul Olympics in trap shooting after he just missed making the 1984 Olympic team. Ballard also competed at the 1995 Pan American Games, winning a gold medal in team trap. He attended Lewis-Clark College in Idaho, and then joined the Army where he served with the US Army Marksmanship Unit at Fort Benning, Georgia. After spending seven years in the Army, Ballard left the military and became the manager of the Coto Valley Club Hunt Lodge in Coto de Caza, California. He also worked as a superintendent for Flatiron Construction Company.
