Biography

Edward Greene shot two free rifle events at the 1908 London Olympics. At the time he was a first lieutenant in the US Marine Corps. A career military officer, he eventually became a colonel. Greene served in Haiti, Quantico, Cuba, Santa Domingo, and France. He was from a military family, as Greene was born and died at Fort Greene, Georgia.
