Frank Green’s first big championships were won at the 1963 Pan-American Games when he took two gold medals in pistol shooting. He won another Pan-Am gold in 1967 as a member of the team which won the free pistol-team match. He was also U.S. free pistol champion in 1968. Green today owns his own company involved in shooting sport. Frank Green Enterprises manufactured the Green Free-Pistol, and did research and development work on electronic triggers.
