Allyn Johnson was a pistol shooter who won a gold medal at the 1983 Pan American Games in team rapid-fire pistol. Johnson won gold in rapid-fire at the 1983 National Sports Festivals and a silver at the 1983 US Rapid-Fire Pistol Championships. He won a bronze medal in centre-fire pistol at the 1985 Pan American Championships. Johnson later worked in law enforcement until he was forced to retire due to a disability.
