Edmund Moeller was a specialist in running target rifle shooting. He competed at the 1972 Olympics in that event, and was US Champion in 1971, placing second in 1972. He won the 1969 Nordic Championships in running boar and running deer shooting. Moeller was a US Army sergeant in 1972, stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia.
