Biography
Rom Stanifer shot the English match at the 1932 Los Angeles Olympics. Stanifer was a US Army officer in 1932, serving as a lieutenant in the 179th Infantry. In World War II, he was a lieutenant-colonel, who served in the 45th Infantry Division. In civilian life, Stanifer worked as a laborer.
