Adam Saathoff was a running target shooter who competed at the 1996, 2000, and 2004 Olympic Games. Saathoff won four medals in running target events at the World Championships, with silvers in 1994 running target team and in 1998 individual running target, and bronzes in 1994 mixed team running target and 2002 individual running target. When running target events were removed from the Olympics after 2004, Saathoff retired from competitive shooting to concentrate on his work as an EMT in Sierra Vista, Arizona.
