Webster Wright was a small-bore rifle shooter. He won two titles at the US Olympic Festivals. Wright competed at the Pan American Games in 1987 and 1995, winning two gold medals, in the 1987 team small-bore rifle, 3 positions; and in the 1995 individual free rifle. He also added a bronze in the 1987 team small-bore rifle, prone. Wright attended West Virginia University, where he majored in marketing. He was a two-time NCAA Champion and a named first-team All-American three times.
