Eva Pfarrhofer was a platform diving specialist who competed at both the 1952 and 1956 Olympics. She was a bronze medalist at the 1954 European Championships in platform diving. Pfarrhofer later worked in sports administration with synchronized swimming in Austria.
She married Franz Worisch, who was a diver at the 1948 and 1952 Olympics. Together they had two Olympian children, with Michael Worisch competing as a diver in 1980, and Alexandra Worisch competing in synchronized swimming in 1984. Eva Pfarrhofer-Worisch’s granddaughter, Nadine Brandl , also competed in synchro swimming at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics. Pfarrhofer-Worisch died after sustaining a stroke while sitting in a sauna.
