Gerhard Prohaska was an Austrian breaststroke swimmer that participated in the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics. He could not advance to the second round of the 100, nor over 200 metres, and placed 30th in both events. Prohaska later became part of the sports editorial team at the radio station Ö3 and reported on the world’s major events for Austria’s most widely listened to radio station.
