Biography
Sara Barber had the following podium finishes at major championships: 2nd in the 1959 Pan American Games 100 metres backstroke, 2nd in the 1959 Pan American Games 4×100 metres freestyle (with Margaret Iwasaki, Helen Hunt, and the non-Olympian Sandra Scott), 2nd in the 1959 Pan American Games 4×100 metres medley (with Margaret Iwasaki and the non-Olympians Janice Shepp and Sandra Scott).
