Biography

During the 1950s and 1960s Hanna Laursen took part in competitive diving, representing Købmandsskolens GF in Herlev, Denmark. In 1956 Laursen was selected to compete in the platform event at the Melbourne Olympics, finishing 15th. She returned to the Olympics four years later in Roma, improving on her previous performance to finish 14th. She was married to noted Danish footballer Poul Jensen, who won silver at the Roma Olympics.
