Biography

Raili Riuttala was a Finnish swimmer who represented Porin Pyrintö in Pori. Riuttala competed during the early 1950s where she won several championships in the 100 and 400 metres freestyle. She was selected to be part of the Finnish team that swam in the 4 × 100 metres freestyle relay at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics. She also swam in the 100 metres freestyle at the Helsinki Games, finishing 33rd. Riuttala later competed in masters events and founded her own masters swimming club in Pori.
