Biography
Nan Rae finished fifth in the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games 440 yards freestyle as well as fifth in the 4×110 yards freestyle relay (with Christine Harris, Frances Hogben, and the non-Olymian E.S. Gunn). In the British Empire and Commonwealth Games Rae competed for Scotland.
