Biography

Norman Brooks had the following podium finishes at major championships: 2nd in the 1930 British Empire Games 100 yards Freestyle, 2nd in the 1930 British Empire Games 4×200 yards Freestyle Relay (with Freddie Milton, Arthur Watts, and Joseph Whiteside). Brooks also competed in the 1930 British Empire Games 400 yards freestyle, but did not finish the final. In the British Empire Games he represented England.
