Biography

Swimmer Lothar Noack finished sixth in the 200 m backstroke at the 1972 München Olympics. From 1970-72 he earned six podiums at East German nationals. Nevertheless, his career was overshadowed by the redoubtable Roland Matthes. No other results or details of his life are known.
