Biography
German breaststroke swimmer Kathrin Dumitru failed to reach the semi-finals in both the 100 and 200 metres at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, but she finished sixth with the German 4x100 IM relay squad. That same year she won both German national breaststroke titles and added the 100 metres butterfly in 1997. Dumitru worked as a swimming coach and later turned to body-extreme sports.
