Biography
West German breaststroke swimmer Petra Nows finished fifth in the 200 m final at the 1972 München Olympics. The following year she won the bronze medal with the 4x100 medley relay team at the Belgrade World Championships. That same year, 1973, she won both national titles in the 100 and 200 m breaststroke. She later worked as a school teacher.
