Biography

A Genovese swimmer, Enrico Bisso was a backstroker who represented Sportiva Sturla. He did not get past the heats of the 100 backstroke at the 1976 Montréal Olympics but made the final with the Italian 4x100 medley relay team, where they placed seventh. Bisso was the first Italian to swim the 100 metre backstroke in under one minute. He competed at the 1975 World Championships, but was disqualified in his heat of the 100 back, and also competed at the 1977 European Championships.
