Although a fine swimmer Ragnhild Larsen concentrated on diving in 1920, and was selected for the Antwerpen Olympics as a diver that year. She set national swimming records in the 50 m, 100 m, and 400 m freestyles, and won 14 national championships in the period 1917-22, receiving the Kings Cup four times. As a diver she went on to win six national titles between 1921 and 1930. She worked as a swimming instructor for children after her active career.
