Biography
Jerry Dusenberry was a boxing referee at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. In 1992 he was also elected president of USA Boxing, after serving as vice-president from 1988-92, and holding the post through 1996. He was a member of the US Olympic Committee.
In 2001 police began investigating Dusenberry for sexual abuse of youths and in July 2002 he pled guilty in Multnomah County Circuit Court (Oregon) to sex abuse charges with four boys and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. He was released in May 2011 to live under post-prison supervision, and he would not be allowed contact with minors, nor would he be allowed to engage in personal relationships with anyone responsible for the care of minors without prior permission of his parole officer.
