Biography
Wivan Pettersson was a Swedish swimmer who represented Eskilstuna SS. Pettersson competed in three events at the 1924 Paris Olympics. In the 100 metres freestyle Pettersson was eliminated in the heats and did not advance to the semi-finals. In the 200 metres breaststroke Pettersson finished in fourth place and in the 4 × 100 metres freestyle relay she won the bronze medal with the Swedish team. In 1925 Pettersson set two Swedish records in the 200 metres breaststroke.
