Lala Sjöqvist was a Swedish diver who represented Kalmar SS. Sjöqvist was the national champion in the straight dive from 1927–29. Sjöqvist competed in the same event at the 1927 European Championships where she finished in fourth place. Sjöqvist won the bronze medal in the platform event at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics. The following year Sjöqvist competed at the 1929 Nordic Championships where she won the gold medal. After her diving career Sjöqvist worked as a school teacher.
