Biography
Melissa Briley grew up in Houston but attended the University of Miami, where she made All-American for four straight years and graduated in 1978 with a degree in graphic design. She was a four-time US Champion in platform diving, also winning a bronze medal on platform at the 1978 World Championships. She competed at the 1975 Pan American Games, placing fourth on platform.
