Biography

Jenny Keim dove springboard at the 1996 and 2000 Olympics, and also competed in synchronized platform at the Sydney Olympics. Keim dove in college at the University of Miami, where she graduated with a degree in political science in 2002. She was a multiple All-American who won the NCAA springboard and platform titles in 1999 and 2000. She was inducted into the University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame in 2010.

After her diving career ended, Keim became a coach. She started in the Philadelphia area, as an assistant coach at La Salle University from 2005-07, and as head coach of Liberty Diving, a club team. In 2007 she became an assistant coach at Duke University, where her husband, Drew Johansen, was head coach.

In 2008 Keim-Johansen moved to North Carolina State University, coaching there until 2012, when she was named head coach at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She and her husband founded the American School for Diving (ASD) in 2007, and were co-owners.
