Although he never won an individual AAU title, Frank Booth was a member of the Hollywood AC team which won the AAU freestyle relay in 1929 and 1931. He also was captain of the Stanford swimming team. He continued to participate in senior championships into his old age setting US records for his age group. He was chairman of an engineering firm and later, from his home in Laguna Beach, ran an avocado farm, a finance company and an education consulting firm.
