Jack Kasley swam at the University of Michigan, winning the NCAA title in the 200 yard butterfly breaststroke in 1935-37. He also helped Michigan to win NCAA medley relay titles in 1935-37. In March 1936 NCAA Kasley set a world record 2:37.2 for the 200 m breaststroke in New Haven, Connecticut. Kasley graduated from Michigan in 1937 with a degree in engineering.
