Biography

Scott Tucker swam the 4x100 freestyle relay at both the 1996 and 2000 Olympics, winning gold in 1996 and silver in 2000. Tucker won 14 medals and 7 golds in major international events, almost all in relays. He did win a silver medal in the 200 freestyle at the 1999 Pan American Games. Tucker won one gold at the 1998 World Championships and a silver at the 2003 Worlds, and he won three golds at the Short-Course Worlds in 2000 and 2002, all in relays. Tucker took home four medals and a gold in the 4x200 free relay from the 1999 Pan American Games. He won golds in the 4x100 free relay at the 1997 Pan Pacs and the 1995 Universiade.

Tucker swam in college at Auburn. He later became a swim coach, helping produce a series of instructional videos to teach children swimming skills.
