Biography

Daniel Watters swam at the University of Texas, as a breaststroker. He helped Texas win two NCAA titles and captained the team his senior year. Graduating in 1993 he then earned an MBA from the University of San Francisco. He later worked in business fields, often in information technology (IT), for various companies. He started with KPMG, but was then with Capgemini in Dallas, AT Kearney as a senior manager in IT, Amdocs in business development and sales, and in the 2010s with Oberthur Technologies. He has also been a director of Swim Across America, a charitable organization that funds cancer research.
