Mara Fullin was born in Venezia where she played with the Junior San Marco club in Mestre. At age 15 she moved to Vicenza and moved up to the senior team. She won seven consecutive Italian titles, with five Champions Cups. In 1984 she was added to the National team, playing on it through 1996. Fullin took part in five European Championships, a World Championship, and two Olympics.
After Vicenza, Fullin joined Comense in 1990, when her second long series of victories began: eight consecutive Italian titles, two European Cups, four Italian Cups, two Italian SuperCups, and a Club World Cup in 1995. After retiring in 1998, Fullin began coaching and helping to manage the women’s national teams. She settled in Cesena where she trained the Virtus girls’ side.
