Halina Aszkiełowicz won a silver medal with the Polish volleyball at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. She earned 138 caps for Poland and also won a silver medal at the 1967 European Championships, adding a bronze at that tournament in 1971. She played for Świdnica Polonia from 1963-72, and won two Polish junior titles with them in 1964-65. She later played for Odra Wrocław, and then two Italian teams, Salora Bergamo and Volley Potentino.
