Lyubov Tyurina played with two clubs during her career – Trudovyye Rezervy Moskva through 1965 and from 1966-1974 with Dynamo Moskva. With Dynamo, Tyurina won Soviet titles in 1967 and 1970-73, silvers at the Soviet championships in 1966 and 1974, and bronze in 1969.
She also won the CEV (European Volleyball Confederation) Women’s Champions League with Dynamo in 1968-72 and 1974, and was runner-up in 1966-67 and 1973. Tyurina was on the Soviet national team from 1967-74, winning Olympic gold in 1972, World Championships gold in 1970 and silver in 1974, and European Championships gold in 1967.
