Biography
Melissa McLinden played volleyball at the University of Arizona, where she studied business and was All-Conference for four years, was an honorable mention All-American in 1983 and 1984, and was named first-team All-American in 1985. McLinden played for the US Junior National Team in 1984 and 1985. She is a member of the University of Arizona Hall of Fame. McLinden later started and coached the Freedom Volleyball Club in the Keystone Region of Pennsylvania, near New London.
