Biography
Jake Highland grew up in Honolulu, Hawai’i and was a staff sergeant in the US Air Force at the time of the 1964 Olympics. He had a career in the Air Force, and made the All-Service volleyball team for almost two decades. Highland was known as a solid blocker and all-around player. He settled in later life in Novato, California.
